2004 marked the 100th anniversary of the building of the Gym Hall.

The Preservation Alliance of Minnesota designated the Gym Hall one of Ten Most Endangered Historic Properties. The building was also featured in the January-February 2005 issue of Minnesota Architecture as a unique structure since it continues to be used for its original purpose.

To date we have done structural work to keep the building standing. This initial work was done with volunteer labor by members of the Danebod Lutheran Church congregation and Danebod Family Camps. Next steps include foundation repair, roof work and reshingling.
